The Columbia Business School of Spain is pleased to extend to you the invitation to a wine tasting graciously offered by famed wine grower Marimar Torres on Saturday, October 26th at 12pm, taking place at her private residence in Sitges (Barcelona).
This is a unique opportunity for the wine connoisseur to appreciate some of the most select wines from her Marimar Estate in California. The wines will be presented by Marimar herself and will be accompanied by a technical factsheet. We will have a chance to visit her home, known also as Casa Club de Círculo Marimar, and share her entrepreneurial experience.
Marimar comes from a family of highly prestigious winegrowers from Catalonia. She is part of the fourth generation of wine entrepreneurs, her family growing wines since the 17th century. Marimar currently lives in California and exports her wines worldwide under the Marimar Estate brand. Their vineyards are comprised mainly of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties (more details may be accessed through the Marimar Estate website).

Where: Carrer d'Anselm Clavé 30 bis, 08870 Sitges (Barcelona).
Price per person: 5 euros, as proof of formal signup.
Signups to the event and corresponding payment is to be conducted according to your registration status at the website:
- Alumni already registered at the Club's website should first log into the website with their Username (or, alternatively, their valid e-mail address) and Password that have been previously provided (please contact us if you need a new registration at the website or require a reminder of the Username or a new Password) and, second, click on the "Sign up" button that appears at the top of this page, which will take to the signup and payment steps to be followed thereafter with the user data being filled in automatically.
- All other alumni and participants should first enter their e-mail adress and then click on the "Sign up" button above which will take to the order page where the personal details are requested.
Payment is processed through a secure platform, and the signup will be confirmed via e-mail once the payment has been successfully completed.
Guests: Alumni may bring up to two guests to this event, at the same price per person as the host. The guests' e-mail address and name/last name are also requested during the registration process for attendance control purposes. Guests receive a confirmation e-mail of their signup.
Signup deadline: Tuesday, September 22th 2019, or until completion of capacity.
