The Columbia Business School Club of Spain gladly invites you to participate in a most insightful session about the present and future of Cybersecurity Risks guided by industry professional Mr. Narciso Ortega Oliva, a highly reputed expert in such a complex subject with a long personal experience in this field, gained from his duties as a high-rank Police official and subsequently as a consultant (see below a summary of his biography).
The event will commence with an introductory presentation by Mr. Ortega on his views about the new challenges arising in Cyber-Security and Cyber-Defence, on the one hand, and in Cyber-Crime or Cybernetic Wars, on the other. These terms, non-existent fifty years ago, are now more than common. The Wana-cry virus seems to have awakened us suddenly; the awareness was low on the fact that our security, our personal data, our work, our healthcare, or our leisure were being violated.
What is the real situation? What does the near future hold now for citizens? Where are IoT (Internet of Things), Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Qubit, leading us into? Are we prepared or doing anything to be prepared to handle them?
Our guest speaker will offer us an accurate point of view on the current situation and the future outlook of these critical topics in a very pragmatic style, profiting from his hands-on experience in defence missions against organized crime for more than 38 years.
After his introduction, Mr. Ortega will open a debate where participants may raise those issues or questions of particular interest to their businesses, so please come prepared for a productive session.
The event is to be held in a private dining room of Hotel Presidente, so that the environment will be very relaxed and the atmosphere highly collegial, aimed at strengthening our mutual connections.
We wish you join us in debating such a current hot topic.
