Kick off of Columbia Business School Centennial

The Columbia Business School Club of Spain is proud to celebrate, together with over 75 CBS Alumni Clubs around the world, the kick off of the School's Centennial and the 2015 Worldwide Alumni Club Event. Alumni will be briefed on the School's activitities planned for such a remarkable anniversary and will be able to connect again with peers in a social event that will include the screening of two recently awarded Disney shorts and the experience of a superb wine tasting guided by the acclaimed Abadía Retuerta winery from the Spanish Duero region, and this enhanced by a fantastic selection of cheeses.

The event will run according to the following agenda:

7:30 pm: Welcome to participants and guests.

8:00 pm: Introduction words by the Board of the CBS Club of Spain informing of the activities planned to celebrate the School's Centennial.

8:15 pm: Projection of two Disney shorts:

• “Feast”, a sweet and touching short film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2014, winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film and the Annie Award for Best Animated Short Subject.

• "Al Rojo Vivo", a recent 2015 short film featuring the thirty-fourth episode of Mickey Mouse participating in the Sanfermines along the streets of Pamplona.

8:45 pm:  Private Wine & Cheese Reception, allowing for a relaxed social gathering and networking amid a superb wine tasting of Abadía Retuerta wines, with its General Manager Mr. Enrique Valero guiding participants in recognizing and enjoying the qualities of their finest wines. For this special occasion, alumni will also have the opportunity to purchase their wines at priviledged prices. The wine tasting will be accompanied with a broad selection of the best international cheeses.

Please make sure to arrive on time as the event and film projections at the Disney cinema will start at 20:00 sharp!

Registration details:

The registration for the event is to be done online at the new website of the Club (www.cbsclubspain.org).

Prior to registering for the event, you need to log into the website as a valid user using your User Name, received in a previous email, and the password that you should have created by using the one-time login link that was also provided in that same email. Once you are logged in, you may browse to the event page where you will be able to register online through our secure e-commerce platform. 

The terms of registration for the event will depend upon your Club's membership status:

- Dues-paying members and their spouses/partners: Free. You will just need to register for the event by providing the data requested about yourself and your guests if any.

- All Other CBS Alumni and their spouses/partners: € 20/person, or free if you simultaneously also register as a member of the Club and pay the 50€ annual fee. To register, you will be directed to the registration/payment area of the Club's website where you will be able to pay with major credit cards (secure e-commerce), PayPal account, or via bank transfer (*).

NOTE: All payments will be handled by the company Cordial Iberia S.L. which is owned by an alumn and is kindly constructing and maintaining the Club's website and the e-commerce area on behalf of the Club. (*) Payments via bank transfer should be made to the account of Cordial Iberia S.L. at Barclays ES59 0065 0024 0200 0111 6600 specifying “Your full name(s) - CBS WACE 2015".
