The CBS Club of Spain is honored to invite you to a private gathering with our fellow business school graduate César Alierta.

 Well known to all of us, César is a prominent leader in Spanish and world business. As President of Telefónica for over 15 years, President of the Business Council for Competitiveness, and member of the Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences, he is a most influential reference in the thrust to transform Spanish companies into global contenders.
He is also on the Board of Overseers at Columbia Business School, and so is in a unique position to share with us the latest news regarding strategic projects taking place at our Alma Mater.

César has graciously agreed to host us at a very special moment, having just recently stepped aside as President of Telefónica to focus his energy on the Fundación Telefónica and its social mission.
This will be a fantastic occasion to discuss with César his experience in running large global businesses, his views on the challenges and opportunities in an era of unprecedented technological transformation, and the educational and social projects in which he is taking an active role.
The details of the gathering are as follows:
- Date: Monday, May 9th 2016
- Place: Distrito Telefónica, Ronda de la Comunicación s/n, Edificio Central, 28050 Madrid (Las Tablas).
- Time: Session will start at 19:00 sharp, but please arrive at Telefónica not later than 18:40 to allow for security procedures.
- Details of logistics will be distributed before the event to attendees. Parking space will be available near the building.
- Price: the gathering is free for all alumni, but prior registration is mandatory.
- Registration: You may register in this page by, first, logging in with your user-name and password (in case you don't have them at hand, just request a new password and, in the new page that will appear, introduce your user-name or e-mail address. Following you will receive an e-mail with instructions to change the password). Once logged in, you will see a registration button at the top of this page. Click that button and follow the instructions thereafter.
The agenda is open and the setting informal, so we should expect the gathering to be a lively and insightful discussion among business school peers, with active participation of those attending. To help in addressing topics of interest, you have the possibility to contribute with suggestions in a form at the end of the registration process.
